The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Review by Walter_Peck
He was a Baptist minister and theologian for most of his career. He kept asking about Col. Forbin, and when I explained the Gamehendge story, he thought Trey may have borrowed from Buddhism, where those who are enlightened vow to remain active in helping those who are unenlightened and suffering. Interesting insight.
When the balloons started pouring out of the ceiling at midnight, he put his hand on my shoulder and said, "It's great to be here with you."
Thank you, Phish, for giving me another magical moment in my life.
And here's to another 30 years.
