Perhaps it is all bullshit and perhaps you are being honest, but you're also been mean. Its akin to "does this dress make me look fat, honey?" Of course it does but you keep that opinion to yourself because there is no sense in offending her or ruining her night. If you're tired of the "feel good vibes" perhaps you could start your own blog. Also find your handle pretty ironic given your take on the situation.
