Review by Wombat_en_Fuego

Wombat_en_Fuego After finding the Jamstreams app, my first search was for the Oysterhead show I attended. To this day, I still wish somehow this super group would get together. I'd much rather have that than GOTF or TAB, just because of my fondness for Claypool. It's such a different sound than anything you hear, and putting him with Trey only enhances the awesomeness.

I remember arriving at the ballroom somewhat early in hopes of being near the stage. But it turned out the place wasn't that big so we were virtually next to the stage even in the middle of the floor. The songs that stuck out from this show, where I can close my eyes and still envision myself there were: Pseudo Suicide, Shadow of a Man, and Mr. Oysterhead. I forget which song Trey played the antler horns thing, but it was quite hilarious.

I know Trey was in a dark place maybe back then, but the groove forced you to move and enjoy yourself. I'd love to hear these guys again. But if it meant Phish taking a break or quitting, then I'll definitely pass and continue to spin the one album they put out.
