Divided Sky: Like peanut butter and chocolate, The Sloth and Divided Sky were meant for each other. Good version.

Roggae: Dreamlike.

First Tube: Good placement, set needed some punch.

Punch You in the Eye: Interesting late first set placement. Like!

Sample in a Jar: Ok, guess they are saving it all for the second set.

First set summary: It’s not hateful but there is literally nothing here to revisit. At all.

Cities: Subtle loop at 6:49. I see the clap along crowd from Chicago made the trip to MN. How could you clap along to this extremely mellow groove in the 8-minute range? Defies logic. Most think this is over at 9 minutes and applaud as if they are going to go to another tune. Nope. This jam is beyond mellow, enough to put you to sleep. This jam could almost be out of the Lemonwheel ambient set. I'm only half kidding.

Free: This Free rocks big time. Mike thumps. Crowd eats it up.

Ya Mar: What an incredibly odd place in the set for this tune.

Carini: Rocks, good little jam.

HYHU LOVE YOU HYHU: Fun with Fishman

Cool it Down: RARE. Huge bust out. First time played since its debut at 10.31.98, 130 shows. This jam consists of a lot of boring strumming. Sleepwalking.

David Bowie: Pretty strong Bowie and a great way to close the set.

Fire: Rip roaring good time.

Second set summary: This show just does not do it for me. Cities is the big highlight and it is too mellow for my tastes. Cool it Down has that big bustout cache going for it. Free, Carini and Bowie were all good. But certainly not great. I would rate this as a 3.3 out of 5.
