The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.

Deer Creek was a trip . At the previous show I hooked up with Paul and the potowotomai crew... They drove me for the rest of the tour. What's up Young bros!
We drove from Virginia and stopped a lot a long the way. I had ground scored a bag of schwag which nobody wanted to smoke. We stopped to get gas and the attendant asked if we were coming from the show and if we had any weed. I said "yeah" give me 20 bucks and you can have it. I was quickly schooled in karma and we gave him the weed for free....
Show wise all I remember is the huge electrical storm and a bolt lighting up the entire crowd during Bowie I think.
The cornfield scene was outrageous. This show made me realize that preconceptions based on geography are really fucking stupid. We showed up late and left as soon as the show was over so not sure I got the full Deer Creek experience... But it was a blast!
