Fans of "Greazy Troll” Jon Fishman have been amazed by his skill with the trombone, bagpipes, washboard, and vacuum cleaner for years. However, fewer fans are familiar with Fish’s proficiency on the pillow. This unique talent was displayed on 6/25/97 during an equally unique second set in Lille, France. The complex machinations of pillow performances are surely to blame for Fishman’s trouble in relating the complete lyrics of the Simon & Garfunkel folk-rock classic “Cecilia.” After several attempts, though, Henrietta managed to get almost one whole verse right before his band broke into a triumphant rendition of “Hold Your Head Up.”
